Projects

In September 2021 the UK, in its role as chair of the G7, has asked the Global Pandemic Data Alliance, comprising of data.org, I-DAIR, Open Data Institute, the Royal Society, and the Trinity Challenge to lead on the implementation of the S7 health data roadmap.
In the first phase of this work members of the Alliance have focussed on the following key elements: 

  • Mapping the landscape of current international efforts to create pandemic prevention data infrastructure with the objective of improving coordination and collaboration – led by data.org.
  • Producing a set of data architecture and data governance principles to enable the future crowd-sourcing of solutions – led by I-DAIR and ODI.
